Background & Credentials

Chris is a Singapore-based, English speaking, private tutor who has taught the Singapore-Cambridge A-level H1 and H2 Economics curriculum in high schools in Singapore – National Junior College (NJC) and Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) – from 2003 to 2013.

He has also taught the Singapore-Cambridge O-level, IGSCE, as well as the International Baccalaureate SL and HL Economics curriculum.

Chris’ academic credentials include:

Bachelor of Science (Second Upper Honours) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the United Kingdom
Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore
Master in Education from the University of Western Australia

Since 2020, Chris has expanded his teaching services to overseas students via virtual lessons on zoom. Till date, he has taught more than 100 students from China, Japan, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.
